You probably know that we have been teaching babies to swim for over 20 years but you may not know that we have been working in frontline Underwater Photography and Film for many years more.
In fact, Little Dippers was born out of an inspirational event in the 1980's where Lauren Heston, Director and Founder of Little Dippers,was working on a commercial for British Gas, where she was filmed swimming in the warm coral filled waters of the Red Sea with a newborn baby.
Since that date Little Dippers have had the privilege of working on numerous groundbreaking underwater film and media projects both in the UK and worldwide. 30 years experience has taught us a thing or two and that's what make us different from all the other Underwater Photographers out there.
Shooting babies and children in the water is a delicate mix of technique and skill which can only be developed over time. Coupling this with a great photographer gives you the best possible chance of capturing that once in a lifetime image. Our award winning photographer, Zac Macaulay, not only uses cutting edge equipment to capture that special image, but uses his 20+years experience in commercial photography both on land and sea to get you that special image.
Now you probably think that all this experience carries a hefty price tag. Well whilst its correct to say that the camera equipment alone is the equivalent to the cost of a top of the range family saloon, we are pretty reasonable when it comes to cost. In fact you can get your Underwater Baby experience, an ultra high resolution CD of all your images, a dozen prints and 2 stunning Canvas's for less than the price of that new buggy!

An Underwater Baby experience is just £20 to attend and is non refundable.
For this you and your baby will spend around half an hour in the water with Zac and his cutting edge camera equipment, which is the same he uses for his commercial work.
To keep costs low as possible you will be in a small class (usually 5 babies maximum) but our teacher will also be there to guide you and more importantly swim your baby for the best possible shots.
Depending on baby's performance, they will aim to take up to 12 Underwater images. Viewing your images is included in your booking fee and simple. You will be given a special password for you to view each of them online after 72 hours. Images that appear online will obviously be very low quality but suitable enough for you to see your baby.
You can also save these very low quality images to your hard drive should you wish, although they will not be good enough quality for printing at this stage.If you would like to print, email or produce fantastic works of art of your baby underwater we can provide all of your images on CD at ultra high quality.
The studio will hand assess each image, colour correct and do simple retouches of your images all for just £109 including postage & packaging.
Once your CD has been produced we can additionally send them to our specialist lab to print them professionally from just £3.50 or produce canvas's from just £29.95!
Please note that you cannot purchase just prints or canvas's on their own. You need to purchase your CD in order to have access to your images.
Zac has signed an exclusive deal with Little Dippers and is not available to any other swim schools.
He has personally been responsible for major campaigns such as Diesel, BBC's How to Build a Human, National Lottery, British Heart Foundation, London Aquarium, Boots, Guinness and numerous others.
Zac has won many awards including the acclaimed Palme D'Or Advertising category for Best Stills Image as well as the Gold Medal in the International Festival of Underwater Film and Photograhy.
